How far along? 6 Weeks
Total weight loss/gain? Gained 3 pounds (weighed in after breakfast).
Maternity Clothes? No
Stretch Marks? No
Sleep? So far so good
Best moment of this week? Making my first pre-natal appointment for October 18th. Talking to the nurse and her telling me my scheduled C-section would be for 39 weeks. Definitely makes it a little easier knowing I will know when I will have the baby and not like the waiting game with Harrison. Lots of prayers we make it to 39 weeks!
Worst moment of this week? Having to wait an extra week for my 8 week visit due to scheduling conflicts. (This exact thing happened with Harrison, I didn't have my first one until 9 weeks.)
Miss Anything? Not yet
Movement? No, still too soon for this.
Food Cravings? Really nothing yet. No fun, I know!
Anything make you queasy or sick? A couple things make me gag but no vomiting yet.
Symptoms? Mild cramping and mild nausea when I am hungry.
Have you started to show yet? To me I can tell, to others probably not.
I love the Clancy photo bomb. He was always in every picture
when I documented my pregnancy with Harrison.
Gender Predictions? Chinese gender predictor predicted a girl and the predictor was right when I tried it when I was pregnant with Harrison. We have not yet decided if we will find out the baby's gender before delivery. I am leaning more towards not finding out, there is a level of fun and anticipation that adds to the delivery of the baby not only for us but for friends and family if the gender is a suprise.
Labor signs? No and lets keep that off for as long as possible.
Belly Button in or out? In for sure
Exercise? Nothing yet. I am so afraid of Zika and mosquitoes that I try to stay in as much as possible, plus its still hot out. Once it cools down we will be outside playing and walking all the time. When I take Harrison to the park I wear long leggings and a shirt and cover with bug spray.
Happy or Moody most of the time? Pretty happy
Looking forward to? Trip to North Carolina to visit friends this week and a trip to CT and Boston. I may tell friends and family while there. I would like to wait to tell everyone until after our first appointment but there is something amazing about telling everyone the good news in person.
Any irrational worries? Zika, birth defects, lifting heavy objects, the list goes on and on.....
