Dear Second Baby,
Not much new to report here, I am still feeling tired and nap on most days for a little bit with Harrison. I have started to get things ready for you and wash all the baby stuff so that I won't have to do it when I am super huge and pregnant. Today Daddy played with Harrison outside while I cleaned and finally organized his toys, put most of the baby toys away in boxes for you and threw out some toys that either Clancy had destroyed or that Harrison just really didn't need anymore.
This pregnancy has been so different than the first, I am so much more relaxed about this pregnancy as with the first I worried about EVERYTHING, all second time moms say that the second is so much different.
Would you believe that today was the first day that Daddy and I actually kicked around some names?! Nothing set in stone yet but we eliminated some that I had on my possible list. There are so many to chose from! We still have not decided if we are going to find out what your gender is before delivery. A part of me does want to know because if you are a girl, we have NO girl clothes and I will want cute pink girl clothes. But since we didn't know what Harrison was until delivery we certainly have plenty of gender neutral clothes!
Here's a little funny story of something your brother did to me. I had been wanting to cozy up his little tee-pee tent for him since he never really used it. I wanted to make it more of a reading nook. So on Friday Harrison and I went to Ross, we picked out a cozy new rug, I let him pick out his own pillows, he insisted on getting this fuzzy yellow pillow and would only hand it over to allow me to pay for it.
He literally helped me carry the rug out of the store and then into the house (the lady who let us cross in the parking lot was laughing hysterically watching Harrison help carry the rug to the car). As soon as we got home he immediately started putting all his new pillows into his tee-pee and I told him we needed to put the rug down first. We hung his spider lights that Grandma Margaret sent him and we all (Clancy too) went inside for about 5 minutes. All of a sudden Harrison started getting angry and threw all the pillows out and he was banging on the tee-pee walls making it collapse. I was so upset with him that I took it all down! I later put it all back up again and he seems to like it now. Daddy and I later joked that Harrison has the nicest pillows in the house (he really does - I don't keep nice pillows around because Clancy destroys them all). He now likes his tent and even read some books in there today. Hopefully you and Harrison will use this little space to hang out for years to come.
That is all for now. We will be 13 weeks tomorrow!
Love you so much,
Love Mommy
